When I get my hair cut I have to repeat to myself, "it's just hair, it'll grow back"
I have an unnatural hair attachment, no pun intended. It's not that I don't want to get my hair styled though. I do recognize when it is shaggy and unkempt. But I think every single women has experienced going in for a routine trim and coming out with a whole new style that you have no idea how to fix and doesn't look like YOU at all.
So it's scary. Every time. Even when you go to "your guy/girl."
And since I have a blog ( along with the rest of the YOU CAN DO IT generation) I can ask you, my 4 readers, how should I cut my hair.
Please vote!
A.Blunt cut right at the shoulders, no bangs
C. Shoulder length, bangs
D. Side swept
E. Do something crazy new such as {enter suggestion here}
ANNNNNNNNNNNNNND GO!

But you are so pretty I all those choices... So, that's kinda hard! I'm gonna go with A or D though. No specific reasons... You're beautiful no matter the hair! ( and I need a hair cut.... The last time my hair was cut, the doctors wouldn't have let Hannah be born if she tried... That is entirely too long!)
I like A and D also - Maggie (I don't know how else to publish my comment). :-)
Your hair always looks beautiful! I like the non-bang options best because your face is so pretty and you have a nice forehead. Also, bangs need to be trimmed more often, and they stick to your face when you sweat. There's my 2 cents. :-)
I love them all. But if I have to choose I choose A.
For what my thoughts are worth.. C is how I remember your hair being...kind of classic Mary. No bangs is nice becuase you don't have to get them trimmed up all the time (which is why I grew mine out a LONG time ago). B is fun and sassy, not a look I'm use to you having which is nice. D. is very grown up and respectable. What ever style you choose from above will clearly look nice. Which makes you feel best?
Y'all are all to sweet. I posted real pics, b/c when you put celebrity cuts you always think you'll look like the celebrity when you get your hair done and then you don't and you are sad.
Britt-Yes, once the kiddo is her, trips to the salon are fewer and far between. Which may be a big con to getting bangs
Mom- you have to say you like them all
Amber-thanks! That does help
Jen- you think I have a nice forehead??!?!? I couldn't sworn I had a five head-hence the bangs in the past.
For what it is worth, I agree with Amber. Option C is just kind of classic M.E. to me. It's how I remember you. You're beautiful in all four styles, but my vote is option C.
I vote A, only because I like your hair long and I think bangs are a pain to fool with. BUT - you've been toying with cutting bangs for a while now, so maybe you should just go for it. Maybe start with the side swept to ease into them? Either way you choose will look great!
I like it long, too, no bangs - so option A. And your hair doesn't grow very fast, does it? So if you got bangs and didn't like them, it would take a while for them to grow out, though the option for sideswept bangs is appealing.
Here is my two cents. Literally only worth $0.02. I think "no bangs" makes you look younger. Maybe it's just the pictures. After admiring all of your pictures, I can't help but agree with everyone. You look wonderful in each style! I hate you! :-p hee hee jk!!
I say A or D. To me, bangs are just a separate piece that needs to be styled. The side
sweep could be a good option if you want to frame your face a bit. Can't wait to see what you decide!
We need pictures! :)
